Emplacement : Au Sud-Ouest de la France, la rivère “Gironde” est formée au confluent des rivières “Garonne” et “Dordogne” à environ 40 miles nautiques de son embouchure. Elle est navigable pour des navires jusqu'aux quais de Bordeaux (environ 62 miles nautiques en amont).

Position: 44 deg 52' N - 0 deg 33' W Located on the left bank of "Garonne" river, max airdraft available: abt 45 mtrs, with following berths / terminals as follows: [b]Berth 337 /336 - "Queyries"[eb] Public berth, located on right bank of Garonne river. Unloading fertilizers in bulk - sawn goods - chemicals products in bulk by shore connection. Max fresh water draft admissible alongside berth: in between 6M00 and 7M00. [b]Berth 139[eb] Public berth, located on left bank of "Garonne" river. Unloading vegetable oil in bulk. Max fresh water draft admissible alongside berth: in between 4M30 and 5M40. Max L.O.A: abt 140 mtrs. [b]Berth 122 / 123 / 124[eb] Public berth, located on left bank of "Garonne" river, close to city centre. Used for cruise and navy vessels. Max fresh water draft admissible alongside berth: in between 7M50 and 8M00. (over than 7M50: to be checked with Port Authorities and Pilotage).

[b]Tugs:[eb] 3 tugs of 30 tonnes tractive force are available (based in Bassens).
